Loyola University presents Maxims, Monarchy, and Sir Thomas More

(New Orleans)ŚLoyola University New Orleans will present Maxims, Monarchy, and Sir Thomas More on Thursday, February 1, 2001. Ethics and Professionalism: An Evening of Entertainment and Thought-provoking Discussion is a one-man play performed by Graham Thatcher, Ph.D.

The play is set in the Tower of London on the day of Moreĺs execution. The drama focuses on the philosophical, legal, and moral issues from Moreĺs point of view as seen through his wit, whimsy, and wisdom. The body of the text excerpts Moreĺs own work, including speculative philosophy, poetry, letters and essays.

The performance will take place at 6:30 p.m. in Nunemaker Auditorium, located on the third floor of Monroe Hall, on Loyolaĺs main campus. Admission to the performance is free and open to the public. Those who want to receive CLE credit must register. The credit is for 1.5 hours ethics, and 1.5 hours professionalism. There is a $25 fee only for CLE credit.
