Casa Argentina of New Orleans and Loyola University New Orleans College of Music presents Ensamble Antognazzi's "Music & Dance 2000"
Loyola press release - February 23, 2000

Music & Dance 2000 is an original show of great visual beauty that invites you for a stroll through the contemporary dance and music of the three Americas and Europe, from the "saloons" of colonial Buenos Aires to Astor Piazolla's tangos. The program includes choreographic works set to the music of Debussy, Chick Corea, Héctor Villa Lobos, and Paquito D'Rivera.
Casa Argentina of New Orleans is a non-profit organization with the mission of preserving and sharing the Argentinean culture in New Orleans, as well as collaborating with local and Latin American institutions and helping people when the circumstances call for it. The organization has enjoyed bringing many of Argentina's most prestigious writers and musicians to New Orleans. To open their 2000 cultural season, Casa Argentina is pleased to present Ensamble Antognazzi, a unique experience of music and dance, integrating classical, traditional Argentinean sounds and contemporary dancing.
