As one of the most respected agents in the country, Jeri Goldstein managed the careers of some of the top touring acoustic artists on the circuit. Booking national and international tours for Robin and Linda Williams; Garrison Keillor and The Hopeful Gospel Quartet; Dan Crary; Ferron; California; Freyda & Acoustic Attatude; Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer; and the Fiddle Puppet Dancers.
She has consulted with artists, agents and managers in the realm of career management. As a speaker, Goldstein has conducted career management seminars for individual groups, arts councils and at festivals and conferences including the Swannanoa Gathering's Contemporary Folk Week, the IBMA, Arts North Carolina and the Folk Alliance.
Complementing her 21 years as president of The New Music Times, Inc. (an artist management and publishing company since 1976), Goldstein's background runs the gamut of working inside the entertainment industry: concert promoter; tour coordinator; commercial television production engineer; commercial country radio DJ; graphic artist and photographer. She has also served as President and member of the Board of Directors of the Folk Alliance. Currently she makes her home in central Virginia.
