Loyola University New Orleans School of Law hosts annual Race Judicata

(New Orleans)—Loyola University New Orleans School of Law announces the 13th annual Race Judicata, a 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, October 28, 2000. The race will begin at 7 p.m. at Southport Hall, 200 Monticello Ave. off River Road. This year’s race is called Race Judicata’s Halloween Pumpkin Chase, and includes the 5K road race, and a large party at Southport Hall with plenty of food, drinks, and live music from the Claiborne Playboys.

This event, which is sponsored by the Loyola Law School Student Bar Association, area law firms, and businesses, will benefit the New Orleans Boys Hope Program. The entry fee for individual runners is $14 prior to October 23 and $16 after October 23. For New Orleans Track Club (NOTC) members the fee is only $12. This entry fee covers race entry, food, and drink. Participants also are encouraged to enter the costume contest and win great prizes like free dinners and hotel stays.

There will also be a Student Bar Association (SBA) alumni luncheon at the Audubon Zoo Fly on November 4 from 12-3 p.m. There will be door prizes, pony rides, space walk, food, drinks, and a DJ.
