Members of Loyola Community To Receive Papal Honors

(New Orleans)—Pope John Paul II has bestowed the Papal Honor of Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice on three members of the Loyola University New Orleans community. The Most Reverend Francis B. Schulte, D.D., Archbishop of New Orleans, will present Papal Honors to Rev. Bernard P. Knoth, S.J., university president, and the Rev. James C. Carter, S.J., university chancellor, and John "Jack" Dardis, a board of trustee member. A Mass for the Conferral of Papal Honors is scheduled for January 29, 2000, at 10 a.m. in the St. Louis Cathedral.
