(New Orleans)—Loyola University New Orleans will have its 9th annual Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, October 2 at 11 a.m in the horseshoe of the university’s main campus located at 6363 St. Charles Ave. The blessing will take place at an outdoor mass sponsored by Campus Ministry. The Mass celebrates the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals.
