Loyola University New Orleans City College Offers Criminal Justice Information Seminar

(New Orleans)—Loyola University New Orleans City College is hosting a free informational seminar for those individuals interested in earning a criminal justice degree on Thursday, August 19, at 6 p.m. in Octavia I & II located in the Danna Center on Loyola’s main campus, 6363 St. Charles Ave.

Participants will learn about various career opportunities in the criminal justice field from Dr. Ed Thornton, professor of sociology and criminal justice program coordinator, and Dr. Ronal Serpas, chief of operations for the New Orleans Police Department. Faculty, staff, and a current criminal justice student will be available to answer questions regarding the degree program, transfer credits, admission, scholarships and financial aid. The seminar is open to all those interested in beginning or continuing their pursuit of a degree. Refreshments will be served.
