Sen. Joseph Biden, Jr., to speak at Loyola University New Orleans School of Law

(New Orleans)ŚLoyola University New Orleans School of Law announces a lecture featuring Sen. Joseph Biden, Jr., (DŚDelaware) on Wednesday, April 7, at 6 p.m. in the Gisevius Appellate Moot Court Room 308 of the law school. The law school is located on Loyolaĺs Broadway Campus, 526 Pine Street.

Biden will discuss the Constitutional issues surrounding impeachment. Biden has served in the U.S. Senate since 1973 and currently is the senior Democrat on the Foreign Relations Committee and a member the Judiciary Committee. He is the author of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act that includes the Violence Against Women Act, the first comprehensive law to address gender-based crimes. Biden has been an adjunct professor at Widener University School of Law where he teaches a seminar in constitutional law.
