Israeli and Palestinian Political Poster Art Exhibit at Loyola

(New Orleans)—Loyola University New Orleans has on display Palestinian Political Poster Art Exhibit titled "Both Sides of Peace" from now until February 29, 2000 in the Collins C. Diboll Gallery and Visual Arts Center of the Monroe Library.
The exhibition of posters by Israeli and Palestinian artists reveal and document the issues central to the Middle East conflict. The posters in the exhibition include both award-winning images by internationally acclaimed artists as well as those previously forbidden to be printed. Some were mass-produced while others are original paintings and drawings.
"Both Sides of Peace, Israeli and Palestinian Political Poster Art" is sponsored by the New Orleans Chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the Loyola University New Orleans Bier Guest Lecture Series, and the Department of Visual Arts.
