Loyola's new online Experts Guide provides valuable resource to journalists
Loyola press release - October 7, 2013
The exceptional scholars and educators at Loyola University New Orleans are distinguished authorities in their fields who can offer insightful analysis to a myriad of news topics and trends. Now, through the launch of the online Experts Guide, journalists can connect directly with these experts to find quickly the right source for their stories.
Developed by Loyola’s Office of Public Affairs and External Relations, the online resource identifies faculty, administrators and staff who offer special knowledge, informed opinions and noteworthy perspectives on current topics. Loyola sources can speak on subjects including national and local politics, crime, health care, the ongoing BP litigation and the crisis in the Middle East, to name a few.
Additionally, for subjects not listed in this guide, the public affairs team is always on hand to assist media by locating a faculty or staff member who can speak authoritatively on the matter.
To arrange interviews with Loyola experts, e-mail the Office of Public Affairs or call 504-861-5888.
LoyNews is an e-newswire produced by the Loyola University New Orleans Office of Public Affairs. LoyNews is distributed weekly to local, regional and national news media outlets, communicating the latest news and accomplishments of the university and its community.
