Loyola Institute for Ministry holds webinar on self care

The Loyola Institute for Ministry and adjunct faculty member Jim O’Neill, Ed.D, L.P.C, will host the webinar on self care, “As You Love Yourself: The Minister's Challenge,” on Wednesday, August 8 at 7 p.m. CDT. The webinar is free and open to the public.

O’Neill has been a full-time pastoral counselor for more than 30 years in Metairie and New Orleans. In addition to serving as director of the Pastoral Department of Notre Dame Seminary, he has also served as a professor of pastoral theology and executive director of the Pastoral Counseling Center of Southern Baptist Hospital.

For more than 25 years, O’Neill has presented workshops and presentations on integrating masculine and feminine energies, men’s issues, marriage, parenting, and other issues related to mental health. He teaches the Family Systems and Introduction to Pastoral Care and Counseling courses in the LIM on-campus program.
