Garland Robinette's Think Tank is live from Loyola Thursday

Loyola press release - October 27, 2008

During the weeks leading up to and after the presidential election, Garland Robinette’s "Think Tank" radio show is traveling to different college campuses in New Orleans. The "Think Tank," broadcast on 105.3 FM and AM 870, is coming to Loyola on Thursday, Oct. 30, to broadcast live from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the St. Charles Room in the Danna Student Center.

Robinette will ask questions and take commentary from the Loyola community about the presidential election and our choices for the next leader of this country. He’ll also talk about concerns students, faculty and staff may have for the future: the economy, energy crisis, war, bailouts and everything else on the candidates’ platforms. Loyola’s Chase Distinguished Professor of International Business William Barnett, Ph.D., Bob Thomas, Ph.D., director of the Center for Environmental Communications, and economics professor Daniel D'Amico, Ph.D., will also appear on the show with Robinette. The Loyola University community is encouraged to stop by the show on Thursday, Oct. 30, and share their views on the election with Robinette.
