Loyola women sign North Iberville’s Lauren Pryer

Loyola head women’s basketball coach Kellie Kennedy announced the signing of Lauren Pryer of North Iberville High School.
Pryer, a 5-9 guard, led the Lady Bears to the District 1A Championship this past season. Pryer, who averaged 23.5 points per game, was the District Most Valuable Player. She was also named first team All-State and All-Metro.
A Beta Club student, Pryer also excelled in volleyball at North Iberville. She was voted the District MVP and was named All-Metro.
Pryer is the first signee for Coach Kennedy who was named Loyola’s head coach in July.
“We are excited to have Lauren join our program," said Kennedy. “She is a terrific athlete who is going to be able to create scoring opportunities on both ends of the floor.”
