Faculty and staff eat free at annual crawfish boil

Ready to pinch the tail? The Loyola University New Orleans Alumni Association is hosting its annual Senior Crawfish Boil Friday, May 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Peace Quad on the university’s main campus. In addition to graduating students, Loyola faculty and staff are also invited to enjoy free hot boiled crawfish with corn and potatoes, fried catfish, Creole chicken and sausage jambalaya, Plum Street snowballs and other beverages.

All food is first come, first served. Check in at the faculty and staff registration table at the event for a complimentary wristband. Individual guest adult tickets are $25, and students can enjoy the festivities for $10.

The crawfish boil honors graduating students and welcomes the Class of 2014 to the Alumni Association. The annual celebration is hosted by the Loyola Alumni Association and is co-sponsored by the Offices of the President, Academic Affairs, Enrollment Management, Finance and Administration, Institutional Advancement, Mission and Ministry and Student Affairs.
