Baseball team to host free clinic for Loyola community on April 12
April 4, 2014
Head Baseball Coach Doug Faust and the Loyola University New Orleans baseball team are offering a free baseball clinic for the children of Loyola faculty and staff Saturday, April 12.
The clinic will take place at Segnette Field after the Wolf Pack's game against Southern Wesleyan. Segnette Field is located on the Westbank behind the Alario Center. First pitch between the Wolf Pack and Warriors is slated for 1 p.m. The clinic will begin about 30 minutes after the end of the game (approximately 4 p.m.) and will last one hour. The coaching staff and players will cover pitching, fielding, base running and hitting skills for children of all ages.
“We are looking forward to hosting the children of Loyola faculty and staff on Saturday. It is a great way for our team to give back to those on campus who make Loyola such a great place. We hope that people come early and watch a few innings of Wolf Pack baseball as well,” Faust said.
Admission for all Wolf Pack athletic events is free for faculty, staff and students with a valid Loyola ID.
