Marketing and Communications brings home multiple higher ed marketing awards

March 14, 2014

Loyola University New Orleans’ Office of Marketing and Communications was recently recognized for excellence in marketing in two higher education awards competitions. The office earned three awards in the 29th Annual Educational Advertising Awards competition sponsored by the Higher Education Marketing Report. The contest is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country. This year, nearly 2,000 entries were received from more than 1,000 colleges, universities and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries.

Loyola staffers won the following awards:

  • SILVER – Social Media – Wolf Pack Logo Launch
  • MERIT – Imprinted Materials – Evolution of the Wolf T-shirt
  • MERIT – Annual Report – President’s Annual Report 2012

The office was also honored with two awards for its outstanding work by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education. One of the two awards was a coveted Award of Excellence, the highest category of awards CASE offers. Loyola’s Office of Marketing and Communications was recognized in February at the annual CASE District III Conference in Orlando, Fla., with the following awards:

  • Award of Excellence – Alumni College 2013 Digital App for iPad
  • Special Merit Award – Loyola University New Orleans Alumni Website

Marketing and Communications’ awards come on the heels of another recent win at the local ADDY Awards competition, where the department brought home a Silver Award for the university’s Founders Fest marketing campaign.
