Who do you think leads the Pack? Nominations open for alumni awards

February 21, 2014

The Loyola University New Orleans Alumni Association is seeking nominations for alumni who have devoted their unique talents to serving the university and their communities. The association is now accepting nominations for awards in three categories through Friday, March 7. Complete the nomination online. The awards will be celebrated during Alumni Weekend, June 20-22.

The awards include:

  • The Adjutor Hominum Award is the highest award bestowed by the Alumni Association that honors an outstanding graduate of Loyola whose life exemplifies the values and philosophy of Jesuit education—namely moral character, service to humanity and unquestionable integrity.
  • The College Alumnus/a of the Year Award honors one alumnus or alumna from each of Loyola’s four undergraduate colleges: Business, Humanities and Natural Sciences, Music and Fine Arts and Social Sciences.
  • The Young Alumnus/a of the Year Award honors one young alumnus or alumna from the university. This individual must have graduated from Loyola within the last 10 years.

Submitted letters should specify the award, outlining the individual’s accomplishments, professional affiliation, reasons for nomination, as well as other supporting materials. Complete the nomination online.
