Loyola shares community engagement expertise with the University of San Francisco
January 24, 2014
Loyola University New Orleans knows how to impact the community. As a testament to that, one Loyola staffer shared the university’s longstanding tradition of community engagement with the University of San Francisco this month.
Heather Mack, community engagement research and assessment director at Loyola, led a one-day workshop Jan. 13 at the University of San Francisco to help improve its community engagement outcomes with students and community partners.
“The fact that Loyola has such an emphasis on community engagement is truly admirable and evidence of its commitment to form men and women with and for others,” Mack said.
