Donnelley Center hosts open house for nonprofits Oct. 28
October 25, 2013
The Shawn M. Donnelley Center for Nonprofit Communications is rolling out the red carpet for its annual open house Monday, Oct. 28. “The Premiere” open house event is the first in a series of events the Donnelley Center—run by talented Loyola University New Orleans students—is hosting to help New Orleans-area nonprofit organizations with social media, event planning and promotions. Additional workshops will be held in December, February and March.
The open house is set for 6 p.m. in room 331 of Loyola’s Communications/Music Complex and is open to all local 501(c)(3) certified nonprofits.
“Our open house is a great opportunity for nonprofits to view our facilities, learn more about the services we offer, and apply to be clients if they haven’t already done so,” said Loyola senior Caro Avila, the Donnelley Center’s student manager. “We’re excited about meeting new potential clients and are looking forward to a considerable turnout.”
Founded in 1996, the Shawn M. Donnelley Center is a student-run agency dedicated to helping nonprofits achieve success through effective communication. The center provides various services, including strategic planning, branding, media relations and design. Nonprofit representatives can RSVP for this event or obtain more information at email@example.com.
