October 4, 2013
The Press Club of New Orleans and Loyola University New Orleans are teaming up to host a professional development luncheon for public relations professionals Monday, Oct. 7, in Loyola’s Danna Student Center. The event is called "The Producers Panel," and it will feature producers from local television stations who will discuss the process of producing news stories and share their insight on the types of stories that news stations are looking for and how they determine what to cover.
Panelists will include Dionne Butler of WWL-TV, Donnell Jackson of WDSU-TV and Chris Finch of Fox 8 WVUE-TV.
The panel luncheon starts at noon and will be held in the Audubon Room on the second floor of the Danna Center. This event is targeted to public relations professionals and is open to the public. In addition to the panel discussion, attendees will be provided a buffet lunch and free parking on campus.
The cost to attend is $5 when purchased online at the Press Club Store or $10 at the door. All proceeds benefit the Jerry Romig Press Club College Scholarship Fund.
