Carrie Glass hired as new director of financial aid at Loyola

Loyola University New Orleans recently selected Carrie Glass as the new director of financial aid. Glass will oversee all federal, state and institutional financial aid programs and operations as well as assist with recruitment. Glass comes to Loyola from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, where she oversaw financial aid operations, student accounts and the registrar’s office in her role as executive director of enrollment services from 2001 to 2013.
Glass replaces Cathy Simoneaux, who was director since 2000 and has remained at Loyola as a member of the financial aid team, working in the areas of information and compliance.
At Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Glass managed the financial aid and student accounts operations for 6,000 students across three campuses and online programs, administered all federal, state and institutional aid programs totaling $180 million annually and an institutional aid budget of $18 million and developed the institutional discount policy. Prior to this position, she served as director of financial aid for Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Mass.
Glass holds a master’s in instructional design from the University of Massachusetts Boston and a bachelor's in business from Nichols College in Dudley, Mass.
