For one weekend only at Loyola University New Orleans this June, the public is invited to experience college classes on sculpture, Mardi Gras history, cybercriminals, millennialism, terrorism, global climate change and many other topics.
Donald Boomgaarden, Ph.D., dean of the College of Music and Fine Arts at Loyola University New Orleans, will present a free concert of Frédéric Chopin's mazurkas, Friday, June 7.
Loyola University New Orleans received a $109,875 gift from ExxonMobil after the company matched donations given to the university by 16 of its generous employees and former employees-many of whom are Loyola alumni.
The Louisiana Small Business Development Center Greater New Orleans Region, a Loyola University New Orleans collaboration, has been named the top small business development center in the nation, earning the U.S. Small Business Administration's SBDC Excellence and Innovation Award.
