Student's self-produced exercise video featured nationwide
May 24, 2013
Loyola University New Orleans alumna Izabela Gasparri’s '13 self-produced exercise video detailing a creative way to break a sweat was featured in a syndicated health e-magazine distributed to college students across the country.
In her video, Gasparri shows arm exercises students can perform at their desks, while watching a movie or while listening to music. It was featured in the May 2013 issue of Student Health 101.
Loyola’s edition of the Student Health 101 e-magazine is sponsored by the Office of Student Affairs and covers student health and wellness topics such as healthy eating, fitness, getting adequate sleep, positive relationships and stress management.
Students are encouraged in every issue to submit custom videos for a chance at being published in the e-magazine. Gasparri’s video appears alongside two other videos submitted by college students from Suffolk University in Boston, Mass., and Oklahoma City University.
