2013 Lenten Series features Christian vocalist Kara Klein
February 8, 2013
Loyola University New Orleans’ Jesuit Center presents its 2013 Lenten Series, “Church in the Desert, Church in the World: Reflections in the Spirit of the Second Vatican Council,” a series of events in February and March to observe the season of Lent. Co-sponsored by the Alumni Association, each of these free events will take place on Loyola’s main campus. The series will kick off Feb. 27 with a performance by Christian recording artist Kara Klein.
“For the past six seasons of Lent, Loyola community members have been invited to share together in the spirit of the season. On selected Wednesday evenings during Lent, a speaker or group will help us reflect on the goodness of God and the reason for the season,” said the Rev. Ted Dziak, S.J., director of the Jesuit Center.
