Professor's book on millennialism receives kudos

January 11, 2013

The Oxford Handbook of Millennialism, edited by Loyola University New Orleans resident millennialism expert and professor Catherine Wessinger, Ph.D., was selected as an Outstanding Academic Book of 2012 by CHOICE. CHOICE is a clearinghouse for reviews of academic books, electronic media and Internet resources for higher education.

CHOICE offered its praise for the book: “From the opening typologies (catastrophic, progressive, avertive, and nativist millenialisms) to each article’s robust bibliography, this book by an impressive roster of scholars consistently delivers impeccable scholarship ... this hefty tome is an indispensable reference.”

The book is available on Amazon.
