Intensive English instructors present at Louisiana conference

Loyola University New Orleans Intensive English Program instructors Karen Greenstone and Jessica Haley presented a demonstration on “Common Reading: Its Many Uses for English for Speakers of Other Languages Classes” at the Louisiana Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages Conference Oct. 27.
Greenstone and Haley demonstrated how reading a book in common across classes and levels in an English language learning program can heighten interest, expand knowledge and promote unity among classes and levels.
