Events highlight business side of New Orleans Super Bowl

Next week, students can examine the business side of football mania with two presentations focusing on Super Bowl XLVI. Both events are free and open to all Loyola University New Orleans students.

Tuesday, Nov. 13, 3:30 p.m.
Eagan, communications manager for SMG, the company that manages the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and the New Orleans Arena, will lead the tour and talk about his firm’s role. He will talk about the history of the Superdome in hosting the Super Bowl and other major events.

Thursday, Nov. 15, 12:30 p.m., Miller Hall, Room 112.
Co-sponsored by the Office of Career Development, Basile will talk about stepping up to whatever life throws at you and always being prepared for an opportunity. He will also speak about how Abita will compete with the big beer brands during the Super Bowl promotional period.
