Susan Brower speaks at conference in Las Vegas
September 21, 2012
Susan Brower, associate professor and media services coordinator in the J. Edgar and Louise S. Monroe Library at Loyola University New Orleans, will present “Piloting Webconferencing” at the Consortium of College and University Media Centers Annual Conference on Oct. 4 in Las Vegas, Nev.
Brower currently serves of the board of directors for CCUMC and was also a board member from 2004-06.
Brower oversaw a pilot project which brought Adobe Connect web conferencing to Loyola faculty and students during the past academic year. The system was used for online and hybrid classes, faculty office hours and student study sessions, alumni chapter meetings and conference presentations. It is anticipated that the use of web conferencing will increase considerably at Loyola during the current academic year.
