College of Law hosts oral arguments for Louisiana 5th Circuit Court of Appeal

The Loyola University New Orleans College of Law will host oral arguments for the Louisiana 5th Circuit Court of Appeal on Sept. 20, at 9 a.m. in the College of Law, room 308. All faculty and students are invited to attend.
Four cases are set on the docket – two civil and two criminal. Judges Robert A. Chaisson, Jude G. Gravois and Fredericka Homberg Wicker will preside. Prior to the hearings, the docket and the appellate briefs will be available online at http://www.fifthcircuit.org/.
Seating will be available only on a first-come, first-served basis. No photographs, video recordings or audio recordings will be allowed in the room and cell phones must be turned off. Closed-circuit television telecast of oral arguments will be available for viewing in overflow room 118 in the College of Law building.
