Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies hosts Ignatian spirituality lecture

The Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies at Loyola University New Orleans will present leading scholar Carlos Man Ging Villanueva, S.J., Ph.D., in the lecture, “Ignatian Spirituality in Latin America: The Practice of Spiritual Accompaniment,” on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. in the Audubon Room on the second floor of the Danna Student Center. The lecture is free and open to the public.
Man Ging Villanueva, the vice president of academic research at the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Ecuador, will explore the contributions that Jesuit universities in Latin America are making in the area of Ignatian spirituality. The event is co-sponsored by the Women’s Resource Center and the Jesuit Center.
