Ann Cary, Ph.D., M.P.H., R.N., director of the School of Nursing at Loyola University New Orleans, has been chosen by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing to participate in the new AACN-Wharton Executive Leadership Program. Cary is one of 37 nurse educators from 25 states participating this year in the leadership program.
The centennial celebration continues at Loyola University New Orleans this fall with the launch of a Presidential Centennial Guest Series. The Most Rev. Gregory Michael Aymond, Archbishop of New Orleans, will start the series off with his talk, "Catholic Education: Gifts and Challenges in 2012 and Beyond," on Thursday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. in Louis J. Roussel Performance Hall.
The Office of Annual Giving thanks the many donors who helped the university reach its goal of 10 percent alumni giving participation this year.
The Loyola Institute for Ministry and adjunct faculty member Jim O'Neill, Ed.D, L.P.C, will host the webinar on self care, "As You Love Yourself: The Minister's Challenge," on Wednesday, August 8 at 7 p.m. CDT. The webinar is free and open to the public.
A free symposium at Loyola University New Orleans, featuring top journalism researchers and practitioners, will allow community members to learn about the transformations in journalism nationwide and then let them tell the region's news gatherers what kind of news they want - and how they want it delivered.
Stephanie Hotard '04, M.B.A.'10, was recently selected as director of the Office of Annual Giving for Loyola University New Orleans.
