Law student receives first scholarship from National Association of the Deaf
When an insurance company informed Lisa Bothwell as a child that she wouldn't be allowed to take equestrian riding lessons anymore because she was deaf, it not only devastated her, but set her on a path to advocate for others with hearing and vision disabilities.
College of Law selects new associate dean of admissions
Loyola University New Orleans College of Law has selected Forrest Stanford, J.D., associate dean of admissions at Charlotte School of Law, as the new associate dean of admissions and financial aid. Stanford will begin work at Loyola on Aug. 1.

The Loyola University New Orleans Young Alumni Pack has attained its goal of adding 100 donors in 100 days, and is only 131 donors away from its goal of 10 percent total alumni participation. Young alumni are asking the Wolf Pack to help them reach their total participation goal next week by donating a gift, no matter the size. It's the participation that counts!
Loyola hosts 24th annual International Piano Competition
Twelve of the world's preeminent young classical pianists will travel to Loyola University New Orleans next week to compete in the 24th annual New Orleans International Piano Competition. A series of competitive performances, semifinals and a rousing final round, the competition will identify three medalists and award $5,000 to the grand prize winner.
Loyola announces Centennial Guest Series lineup
Loyola University New Orleans is celebrating its centennial throughout 2012-13 with a series of events featuring acclaimed guest speakers, authors and artists. The series will provide an array of cultural, artistic, Catholic and intellectual perspectives. Each will supplement Loyola's mission of providing outstanding holistic Jesuit education and serving the New Orleans community.
