Psychology major honored at annual Louisiana Academy of Sciences meeting

The Louisiana Academy of Sciences recently honored Amy Sprout, a psychological science major at Loyola University New Orleans, with the Best Undergraduate Poster Presentation Award in the social sciences division for her senior research work. In collaboration with psychology professor Lawrence Lewis, Ph.D., Sprout recently presented her work in the presentation, "Effects of Visualization and Physical Practice on Motor Performance and Self-efficacy," at the 86th meeting of the Louisiana Academy of Sciences at LSU-Alexandria. In addition to the award, Sprout also received a $100 cash prize.
