English instructor presents at education conference in Philadelphia

Jessica Haley, an instructor in the Intensive English Program at Loyola University New Orleans, recently co-presented the conference session, “When Art and English Language Teachers Collaborate,” at the Ethnography in Education Forum, held at the University of Pennsylvania in February. Haley and her co-presenters, University of Mississippi faculty members, Tamara Warhol, Ph.D., Katherine Fields, and Jasmine Karlowski, spoke about meaningful and effective class projects that combine art and writing for second language learners.
