Law clinic presents seminar on veterans' rights

The Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice presents “Veterans: Know Your Rights Family Law Seminar,” on Wednesday, Feb. 29 from 5:30 – 7 p.m. It is free, open to all veterans and takes place in the College of Law Broadway Building, Room 135.
Loyola Clinical Professor of Law Cheryl Buchert, J.D. ’93, and family law student practitioner Sarah Mejias, will host this seminar that will teach veterans who reside in Louisiana about wills and powers of attorney. Law clinic students will also be available to assist any veterans interested in preparing a will and/or power of attorney.
