Seniors celebrate 100 days until graduation
February 3, 2012
To help the Class of 2012 make their final months at the university something special to remember, the Student Government Association, the Loyola Alumni Association and the Office of Co-Curricular Programs are hosting “100th Night,” an evening event that marks the start of the students’ final 100 days here at Loyola.
On Friday, Feb. 3 from 5:15 – 7 p.m., seniors are invited to start the countdown in the Marquette Horseshoe for a special senior class picture, followed by a brief ceremony in Ignatius Chapel and a reception in the Sculpture Garden, located between Bobet Hall and Marquette Hall. The event is free and includes food and beverages and live music.
Seniors will also have the opportunity to socialize with the Young Alumni Association. The Office of Co-Curricular Programs will be sponsoring a door raffle where students can win a graduation frame and other great Loyola gear.
For additional information, please contact Lexie Gaddis with Co-Curricular Programs at firstname.lastname@example.org.
As seniors celebrate their upcoming graduation, they are also encouraged to attend the 2012 Undergraduate/Graduate Grad Fair, a one stop shop for all graduation needs. The Undergraduate/Graduate Grad Fair will be held Tuesday, Feb. 14, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. in the St. Charles Room, on the first floor of the Danna Student Center. The College of Law Grad Fair will be held the following day, Wednesday, Feb. 15, 3 – 6 p.m. in the Broadway Activities Center.
At the Grad Fair, seniors can order their cap and gown, graduation announcements, class rings and formal graduation photos; verify the status of their graduation application; and meet with representatives from Student Finance and Scholarship and Financial Aid regarding account balances and required Perkins Loan and Stafford Loan exit interviews. For more information on the Grad Fair, contact Dwan Haydel at email@example.com or 504-865-3262.
