Theatre department holds senior one-act festival this weekend

The Department of Theatre Arts and Dance at Loyola University New Orleans will continue its Senior One-Act Festival this weekend in the Lower Depths Theater in the Communications/Music Complex. The plays are free and open to the public and will run Saturday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 4 at 2 p.m.
Produced and directed by seniors majoring in theatre arts, this weekend’s performances include “The Frog Prince,” David Mamet’s sardonic adaptation of the Brothers Grimm fairytale of the same name, directed by Sarah Marionneaux; and David Ives’ dark drama, “The Other Woman,” directed by Elizabeth Iafelice.
