Professor emerita of education receives award

Jane C. Chauvin, Ph.D., a Loyola professor emerita of education, was the recent recipient of the Milton J. Ferguson Outstanding Faculty Member Award presented by the College of Education at the University of New Orleans. Chauvin became a full-time visiting professor at UNO after Loyola discontinued its education department following Hurricane Katrina. UNO’s College of Education selects one outstanding faculty member each year for this award.
