Residential Life staff elected to Louisiana Association of Housing Officers executive board

Three professionals from the Office of Residential Life at Loyola University New Orleans were elected to the executive board of the Louisiana Association of Housing Officers. Craig W. Beebe, Amy Boyle and Kari Stone were elected to leadership roles during LAHO’s annual business meeting in Lafayette, La. in September.
Beebe, director of Residential Life, was elected president-elect. This position entails a three-year commitment to LAHO, serving consecutive years as president-elect, president and past president. As president-elect, Beebe will coordinate planning of the organization’s annual conference and business meetings, among other responsibilities.
Boyle, associate director of Residential Life, was elected as research coordinator for LAHO. In this capacity, Boyle will serve a one-year term coordinating statewide benchmarking efforts among member institutions, and facilitating communication and information sharing between member institutions.
Stone, area director of Buddig Hall, was elected member-at-large. In this two-year term, Stone will serve the needs of the executive council through membership surveys, assessments and organizational evaluations.
LAHO was founded in 1989 and represents 18 Louisiana colleges and universities, all of which offer on-campus housing and residential education programs.
