Law professor presents at University of Aberdeen in Scotland
October 7, 2011
Loyola University New Orleans College of Law professor John Lovett traveled last month to the University of Aberdeen in Scotland to present his article “Progressive Property in Action: The Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003” at the second annual Rural Law Conference. The article was also recently published by the Nebraska Law Review.
Lovett’s presentation grew out of his sabbatical in fall 2009 as a McCormick Fellow at the University of Edinburgh School of Law. His research is focused on property law in common, civil and mixed jurisdictions and often explores the evolution of property law in comparative settings.
