Nursing alumna named to board of New Orleans branch of Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank

Terrie P. Sterling ’06, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, has been appointed to the board of directors of the New Orleans branch of the Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta through 2013.
Before assuming her current position in 2006, Sterling held various positions with the regional medical center. She is a member of the board of directors of the Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations and Workforce Investment Board–21. She was also chairperson for Capital Area American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women" campaign for 2009–10.
Sterling received a master's degree in nursing science from Loyola, an M.B.A. from Louisiana State University and a bachelor's degree from Northeast Louisiana University.
