College of Business recognized by international honor society
July 1, 2011
The Loyola University New Orleans College of Business was recently recognized as having a Premier Chapter by Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society serving business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The designation is recognition of academic excellence by achieving at least an 85 percent membership acceptance rate during the 2009-10 school year.
“Being a Premier Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma is testimony to our best students and our faculty for their excellent instruction and mentorship,” said College of Business Dean William Locander, Ph.D.
Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest academic recognition a business student can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB.
