President's Forum to focus on effects of oil spill

Loyola University New Orleans will hold the second part of its 2010-11 President's Forum series: "Oil and Water: Spotlight on the Gulf" on Wednesday, April 27, at 7:30 p.m. on campus at Nunemaker Auditorium in Monroe Hall.
Join us, along with some of the nation's most respected environmental experts, to explore climate change and what it means to our coast, the disastrous damage caused by the BP oil spill, and the lingering health and economic concerns of Gulf Coast citizens.
Providing their insights into these important topics:
- Virginia Burkett, Ph.D., U.S. Geological Survey
- Amy Harmon, The New York Times
- Cynthia Sarthou, Gulf Restoration Network
- Robert A. Thomas, Ph.D., director, Loyola's Center for Environmental Communication, moderator
