April 8, 2011
Karen Ashley Greenstone, an instructor in the Loyola Intensive English Program, located in the Center for International Education, co-presented a paper titled "Examining Virtual Communities of Practice for Research, Collaboration and Dissertating in TESOL," on March 17 at the annual Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages Conference held in New Orleans.
Greenstone and her colleagues described the establishment, function, and benefits of the online peer support group that they formed as a way to provide practical help and encouragement to each other while writing dissertations and articles.
