University wants ideas on top speakers for the centennial celebration

The Centennial Committee Guest Speaker Subcommittee asks the Loyola community to submit nominations for high-profile speakers for two major university/community-wide events – one to be scheduled for fall 2012 and the second for spring 2013. The deadline for nominations is March 31, 2011.

Criteria for speaker nominations are as follows:

  • The individual must be nationally or internationally recognized.
  • The individual should adhere to Loyola’s mission by words or deeds.
  • The individual should be someone who would significantly impact both the Loyola and Greater New Orleans communities.

Nominations must be submitted by e-mail or letter no later than March 31 to the Centennial Guest Speaker Subcommittee, c/o Meredith Hartley, mhartley@loyno.edu, or 7214 St. Charles Ave., Campus Box 909, New Orleans, LA, 70118.

Nomination letters should be 400 words or less and should address the aforementioned criteria.
