Loyola at a Glance
The countdown to graduation begins with a party
February 4, 2011
To help the Class of 2011 make their final months at the university something special to remember, the Student Government Association, the Loyola Alumni Association and the Office of Co-Curricular Programs are hosting a “100 days ‘til graduation” party.
On Friday, Feb. 4, from 5 – 7 p.m., seniors are invited to start the countdown in the Collins C. Diboll Art Gallery on the fourth floor of the Monroe Library. The event is free and includes food and beverages.
Seniors will have the opportunity to socialize with the Young Alumni Association and everyone’s favorite Loyola faces. The SGA will be sponsoring a door raffle where students can win a graduation frame and other great Loyola gear.
On display in the gallery will be “In the Blink of an Eye,” an exhibit by Harold Baquet, university photographer. Music will be provided by Dan Wallace and his Trio Jazz Band.
