Faculty and staff convocation is January 21

The Spring 2011 President’s Convocation for faculty and staff is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 21, at 3 p.m., in Nunemaker Auditorium.
In addition to updating faculty and staff on the university, President Kevin Wm. Wildes, Ph.D., S.J., will also present the Dux Academicus Award, given annually to a faculty member who “is able to impart the knowledge and wisdom of the humanities, sciences, or the professions to students in a manner consistent with the unique philosophy of Loyola University New Orleans as a Jesuit institution of higher education.”
Provost Edward J. Kvet, D.M.E., will also make remarks and present the Twenty-five Year Service Awards.
