The Loyola University New Orleans Bookstore welcomes former New Orleans Saint Michael "Beer Man" Lewis and the Lombardi Trophy for a book signing on Friday, Dec. 10, from 12-2 p.m. Lewis will sign copies of the new pictorial, "WORLD CHAMPS: The Official Behind-The-Scenes Perspective of the Super Bowl XLIV Champion New Orleans Saints."
Jesuit Center Fellow delivering Christmas miracle to Haiti
Loyola University New Orleans Jesuit Center Fellow Katrina Weschler is helping bring a miracle to earthquake-ravaged Haiti this Christmas in the form of former Port-au-Prince security guard Marcel Faugue.
Student Affairs staffers rebuild St. Bernard homes for Christmas project
Staffers in Loyola University New Orleans' Office of Student Affairs are taking the notion that it is better to give than receive to heart this holiday season. For the second year in a row, staff members will give up their office holiday party to spend a day volunteering with the St. Bernard Project, rebuilding homes of Katrina survivors.
Loyola nursing grad joins state task force on birth outcomes
The number of premature births in Louisiana is a staggering 15.4 percent, which ranks Louisiana 49th in the nation and earned the state an "F" from the March of Dimes. Loyola University New Orleans School of Nursing graduate and registered nurse Ashley Rush M.S.N. '05 is committed to changing that grade.

Two Loyola University New Orleans students are out to capture and share 'la vida Loyola' in an exciting, new web video series which launched this week on the university's homepage. "Life at Loyola with Kelsey and Chelsea," hosted by Loyola junior Kelsey Pabst and sophomore Chelsea Fielding, gives a fresh perspective on the Loyola experience as seen through their eyes.
