Loyola at a Glance
Let it sneaux, let it sneaux, let it sneaux!
December 3, 2010
Dreaming of a white Christmas? Dream no more - snow will fall on Loyola University New Orleans’ main campus on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 6 p.m. for the annual evening of Sneaux@Loyno, held on the Marquette lawn.
The University Programming Board will ship in manufactured snow to cap off the fall semester with a memorable event. All Loyola students, faculty, staff and neighbors are invited to “Sneaux@Loyno” to play in 20 tons of the white stuff covering the horseshoe lawn. Attendees will also be able to take photographs with Santa and snack on hot chocolate and cookies while listening to Christmas music.
The UPB will distribute snowballs and signature T-shirts on Friday, Dec. 3 on the front porch of the Danna Student Center to spread the word about Sneaux@Loyno. Other activities include a trip to Celebration in the Oaks on Saturday, Dec. 4 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and a holiday-themed dinner and a movie on Monday, Dec. 6 at 5:30 p.m. in the Orleans Room, located in the Danna Student Center.
