Loyola celebrates the season with annual musical showcase

Loyola University New Orleans will ring in the holiday season with its annual Christmas at Loyola musical celebration on Sunday, Dec. 5, at 3 p.m., at Holy Name of Jesus Church, located at 6367 St. Charles Ave. Admission is free and open to the public.
Christmas at Loyola will showcase several ensembles from the College of Music and Fine Arts including the Loyola Chamber Orchestra, directed by Jean Montès, D.M.A.; the University Chorus and the Loyola Chorale, directed by Meg Frazier, D.M.A.; and the Loyola Brass Ensemble, directed by Nick Volz, D.M.
There will also be an audience sing-along featuring traditional Christmas carols.
Christmas at Loyola has been an annual tradition of Loyola and its community for 18 years and continues to be one of most popular community events of the season.
Free parking is available in Loyola’s West Road Garage.
